WENNOVATE BUSINESS NETWORK (“Network,” “Community,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by WENNOVATE GLOBAL LLP.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect personal information when individuals apply for membership, participate in the Network, communicate with us, attend events or use our related services.

We aim to handle personal information responsibly, transparently and in accordance with applicable Indian data protection and privacy laws.

• Communications with WENNOVATE administrators

D. Technical and payment information

• Information generated through relevant websites, forms or digital tools, where applicable

• Information required to prevent fraud, administer payments or maintain records

We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. Please do not submit passwords, financial account credentials, sensitive personal information or confidential third-party data through the registration form or community.

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use personal and business information to:

a. Receive, review and process membership applications.

b. Verify business identity, eligibility and the accuracy of submitted information.

c. Create and administer Member profiles, directories and community records.

d. Operate the WhatsApp community and communicate membership updates, business opportunities, events and community announcements.

e. Facilitate introductions, networking, collaboration, referrals and business matchmaking in accordance with the permissions and preferences applicable to those activities.

f. Publish Member profiles, business listings or promotional content where the relevant Member has authorized the publication.

g. Process payments, manage memberships and administer paid promotional services.

h. Respond to inquiries, complaints, requests and disputes.

i. Enforce community guidelines, investigate suspected misconduct, prevent spam and protect the Network and its Members.

j. Improve the Network, evaluate engagement and understand which services Members find useful.

k. Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.

We will not intentionally use personal information for purposes materially unrelated to those described here without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, additional notice or consent.

4. Business Directory and Sharing of Member Information

4.1. WENNOVATE may maintain a Member database containing registration and business information.

4.2. Access to internal administrative records will be limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need the information for legitimate operational purposes.

4.3. Certain business information may be made available to other Members through WhatsApp, a Member directory, business showcases, event materials or other community features. The information displayed will depend on the applicable feature and the permissions provided by the Member.

4.4. We will seek appropriate permission before publicly displaying personal contact details or sharing personal information for optional introductions or promotional purposes, where required by law.

4.5. Members should understand that information posted in a WhatsApp group may be visible to other group participants. Information shared directly between Members may be copied, forwarded or retained by recipients outside WENNOVATE's control.

4.6. WENNOVATE cannot guarantee that another Member will maintain the confidentiality of information that the Member has lawfully received or accessed. We prohibit misuse of Member information under our community rules, but cannot guarantee that violations will never occur.

4.7. We do not authorize Members to scrape, sell, commercially exploit or use other Members' contact details for unrelated marketing without appropriate permission or another lawful basis.

5. WhatsApp and Other Third-Party Platforms

5.1. WENNOVATE may use WhatsApp and other third-party platforms to facilitate communications, networking, events and promotional activities.

5.2. These platforms operate under their own terms, privacy policies, technical systems and security practices.

5.3. Depending on the WhatsApp feature used, other participants may be able to see your phone number, profile name, profile photo, messages or other information available through that feature and your settings.

5.4. WENNOVATE does not control the independent data practices of WhatsApp or other third-party providers. Members should review the relevant platform's privacy policy and settings.

5.5. We will not knowingly request that Members disclose another person's personal information to us without an appropriate purpose and lawful basis.

6. When We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

A. With other Members

To support approved business networking, Member directories, introductions, referrals, events and promotions, consistent with the relevant permissions and purposes.

B. With service providers

With providers supporting our registration forms, hosting, communications, event management, payment processing, customer support, business operations or data security, subject to appropriate safeguards.

C. With professional advisers

With legal, accounting, auditing or other professional advisers where reasonably necessary.

D. With authorities or other parties where legally required

Where disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, lawful regulatory request or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

E. In a business restructuring

If WENNOVATE undergoes a merger, restructuring, transfer or similar transaction, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell Member personal information as a standalone commercial product. We may offer paid advertising, sponsorships and promotional services; such services do not automatically entitle advertisers to receive Member contact lists or private registration records.

7. Marketing and Promotional Communications

7.1. WENNOVATE may send communications relating to membership, community administration, events, relevant business opportunities and services.

7.2. Optional marketing communications will be managed in accordance with applicable law and the preferences or permissions required for the relevant channel.

7.3. Members may request to stop optional marketing communications by following the instructions in the communication or contacting us.

7.4. Essential administrative messages, security notices, payment communications and other legally required communications may still be sent where appropriate.

7.5. A Member's inclusion in a business networking community does not give every other Member unrestricted permission to send unsolicited promotional messages.

8. Data Retention

8.1. We retain personal and business information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including membership administration, business networking, recordkeeping, payment reconciliation, security, complaint handling and legal compliance.

8.2. When membership ends, we may retain limited information where necessary to meet legal obligations, maintain financial records, address disputes, prevent fraud or establish or defend legal claims.

8.3. Where information is no longer required and no lawful retention requirement applies, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

8.4. Information posted or shared by a Member in WhatsApp or another third-party service may remain in the possession of other participants or the platform even after the Member leaves the Network or requests deletion from WENNOVATE's own records.

9. Data Security

We will take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the applicable legal requirements to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

Such measures may include access restrictions, administrative controls, appropriate vendor arrangements and secure handling practices.

However, no digital communication system or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or incidents will never occur.

If a personal data breach occurs, we will take the steps required by applicable law.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request information about the personal data we process about you.

• Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information.

• Request deletion of personal data where legally applicable and where retention is not otherwise required.

• Withdraw consent for processing that relies on your consent.

WENNOVATE BUSINESS NETWORK is intended for adult business owners, founders, professionals and authorized business representatives. It is not intended for children.

Applicants must provide accurate information about their eligibility. We will handle any information relating to children in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Some third-party service providers used by WENNOVATE may process or store information outside India.

Where personal data is transferred or processed internationally, WENNOVATE will follow applicable Indian legal requirements and any relevant restrictions or safeguards.

WENNOVATE is not responsible for the independent privacy practices, content or security of those third parties. Members should review their privacy policies before sharing information or engaging their services.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, operational practices or applicable law.

The revised version will include an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required by law.

Where fresh consent is legally required, we will obtain it.
